Hello Chickadee

I was super excited this week to receive some new goodies in the mail. I got a stamp set from Lawn Fawn finally and some of their Bright Side paper! So I made a card for the Lawnscaping Challenge. 

Sadly I don't own any embossing folders or supplies for heat embossing so I had to emboss by hand using a bone folder and ruler. I made a criss-cross pattern to represent chicken wire. I then stamped some Critters on the Farm images, colored them with Copics, then pasted that to a piece of Bright Side paper and put it on the card. I really like the effect the embossing gives the card.

Make Every Minute Count!

Time for another challenge at Peachy Keen! The best part- it's an Anything Goes challenge!

I decided to change it up and make something besides a card, so I made a tag instead. I absolutely love the way this turned out, I am going to start making tags more often. I used the PKS April Stamp of the Month. The alarm clock is paper pieced and the clock hands were fastened down with a brad. The cutest thing is that the alarm clock can wiggle around like a real alarm clock does because of the brad! And you can also change the time. I added some black stitching around the edges and then topped it off with some twine. Here are some pictures.

Simple Hi

Hello! I have a simple card to share that I made for the Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge.

The cute little guy is a digi image from Paper Smooches. I colored him with Copics. I just love the way this turned out! I should do more simple cards like this. :) Speaking of simple, I'm also linking this up to the clean and simple challenge at Simon Says Stamp.

Take Time to Celebrate!

Here is a card I made using the Peachy Keen Challenge Sketch and my PKS April Stamp of the Month. I love this little clock. I colored him with Copics and added some faux stitching. The strip of numbers at the bottom is from the "What Time is It?" background set also from Peachy Keen. The white ink I have is HORRIBLE. Either that or I am stamping it wrong. Any suggestions? Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge

Mother's Day

The challenge over at Peachy Keen this week got me thinking! I had NO ideas for soup can projects... Until today- I thought of doing a Mother's Day gift! It's filled with starbursts :)

I used my PKS Dolly Dumplins Assortment Pack for the faces.
